I wish. You can see I am sitting sweet (so I thought) and Kelly is too to my left.
What you don't see are the SUPs and Prone paddlers that caught up to us through the wave area as well as a group behind them. They all headed straight for the bouy and it was basically a logjam. Blokes who are a wave or two behind are already around and gone.
Fun times.
It was like been at a turnstile . Just stop and wait for your turn

The Elite race is not really just for the elite , anyone can enter the race and quite a few who probably shouldn't do.They get sorted out by the Heats though. I didnt see to many banged up boards though. Surf was pretty tame and small.I think Angie got banged on the Head from a stray board and seen a few other minor injuries , mainly guys jumping of the board on the transition and rolling ankles
