Been keeping an eye on the graph to see if its actually going to happen but was going to make a last minute call tomorrow. That run in your picture isn't that long 3-5km. Hopefully it goes straight west and we can do a run (or two) all the way down to the narrows.

Ripped my fins out on the reef this morning.

These sharks are making me real uneasy. On my own for a couple of hours felt really suss. Lumpy odd swell bit cloudy and glassy. Da da Da da.

Ribs suck did that last year. Get well soon. Well done on avon paddle that 16 must be fast

Thinking twice if a few people. Do not want to go across wind at any stage. The water is real shallow so the runners really stand up along that route should be fun

A few runs would be the go and if you only drove to point Walter with a quick dash across into the wind you could then cruise all the way up to mosmans with the protection from the wind equals more paddling time, less driving time!

Or even just walk out to the end of the spit and go straight down wind, by my calculations would be just under 5km and I'm guessing pretty darn quick.

Gotta admit it is starting to freak me out the amount of sightings, don't need to see that when I am online.
I started following the Shark Alarm website on FB and twitter but am thinking maybe I just don't want to know whats out there.

Would have loved to have joined you all but I'm flying out for Bali in the morning.

Think there is a good carpark on Melville beach road at the end of Cunningham. Slightly on the improve.

If only we were at rotto hilly, would be a good run back to Rockingham.

Absolutley agree. With the use of Stimo's truckmeant we were able to 3 runs in and very little car shuffling.

Run 1 was a bit of a warm up as the wind hadn't really come in yet. 4.27km with an average of 10.2km/hr.

Run 2 the wind had started to come up and more runners were had.4.05km with average of 10.7km/hr.

Run 3 the wind was really howling but the runners didn't seem as good as run 2 were there were glides of 100m+ to be if you could linkthem up. 4.06km with average of 11.2km/hr.

We all agreed that the second run felt like the best even though number 3 was the quickest.

Well done to Niles who came on his first DW run on his Jimmy Lewis surf board.
