Have you tried surfing your 14' yet hilly?

Could be a smartarse here and say have you read my posts lol but I won't

Yes as per prevous posts I dropped in to a few small ones at mettams and as belly said the 14 looked good on a wave.

Stiff as all f!uck with the 02 windsurfing slalom fin in. I now have a 10.5 dolphin from a 11 4 will be interesting to see if I can actually turn

it will work fine in really small stuff just to trim along the face. The 12 gun was much much better on waves as you would expect.

As belly said it was a WTF moment with a 14 and 16 foot boards in the lineup

Hey Hilly,

Simondo surfs and I do mean surfs the 14 really well, by far the best I have seen in Vicco.

I have seen Olly go straight down the line at PRK, the thing is he is not mobile on the board and 14 ft of rail wont turn mid point.

Oh and Hilly on the surfing front high BMI does not appear to effect performance for some, but lower BMI is a handy cap for others.

I dont think the scale applies to SUP

I read a study that being tall is an advantage.... wait on let me dig it up.

here goes found it: www.livescience.com/5552-taller-people-earn-money.html

Unfortunately, the article doesn't say anything about obesity and earning capacity.

Yep, spot on OG, I'm not very mobile on my board. Still learning. And yes Simondo is very good at surfing his 14'.

Well then Olly there is an opportunity for you to write a book on your own experiences and perhaps cash in add to your wealth, further secure your future and provide us all with an excellent read in the process.

You might them get to move on to SUP heaven and we will all be happy

I think the Title could be " The Last Time I Saw My Toes"

Happy to review the draft for you!

Least I can do for a great cause.

Hey OG, Why don't you just post some pics of todays events?

I looked outside today and it must have been perfect conditions.

Hey Hilly,

Not often in life that being big is an advantage in surfing either

If more morbidly obese people got out and SUPed for 7 - 8 hrs a day every weeked and a few hours after work each night there would be less of them.

Plonker them all on short board sups allow them to fall off 300 times a session and the shear amount of excercise climbing back on the board and wobbling around should eventually rip off a few Kegs.

Sounds like a plan.

This one works no idea why Naish do not supply it with the board as they do with the 12 footer
