All these changes and cancellations only illustrate how well Dez and his crew have put together the Blast Summer Series which all competitors have thoroughly enjoyed being a shorter format more suitable for novice and intermediate paddlers.
summerseries.blastpaddlers.com/Other Series' seemingly for longer distances appear extremely well organised and enjoyable too.
There's plenty of racing and a lot of hard work put into them.
We are lucky in Sydney and surrounds.
IMHO, a great Bate Bay (Cronulla) event without the Boat Harbour hassle (and sand flies) would be Greenhills start (parking, showers and grass set up) north to Merries and then a shoot down to a Darook Park finish also being an ideal finish line inside Port Hacking for BBQ and presentation and an ideal downwind run in the summer NE wind pattern or in a south quarter wind, Darook to Phantoms, then rip in to Greenhills with a beach finish.online.oceanseries.com.au/http://www.harbourracing.org.au/Hope to see some of you support Blast on Sunday morning.
