Congratulations Angie & Jacko

Jacko. Breaking leg to get out of mowing the lawn. That's not bad for not even day 1.

Some others I've used are:

Shoulder reconstruction so I don't have to hang the washing out.
Dislocated elbow so I can't iron my shirts.
Middle ear infection so I'm too unstable to carry the garbage out down the front stairs.
Bad back so I can't stack/unstack the diswasher.
Bad head cold so I can't help prepare dinner.

All of course make a miraculous recovery by the weekend so I can go to the beach.

Shane

I popped in yesterday to pick up a copy of the magazine, what mag all sold out. Angie told me about what went down she had a support crew in store around a thousand females,ok seven.I must say Angie was very cool and still had a smile on the dail, now how many ladies would or could do that
Angie told me that the moment Jacko got toed into this wave,he said to himself, I am out of this,I could get hurt. It must have been a monster,so hopefully Jacko will explain what happened and how big it was.

One thing that must be said, how stuff is this Jacko broken leg (two places ) jumps out of his hospital bed to marry the girl of his dreams. What a champion
and goes straight to bed,not his bed the hospital single hard vinyl mattress bed

Match made in heaven IMO.

Jacko is now at home and starting his recovery! Already talking about doing some prone laydown paddling once his fibreglass cast goes on next wk LOL.

It's very funny as his leg isn't sore but now he has got a massive tooth ache!!

Seriously

Angie, all the best on the wedding. Sorry about the leg.

Let Jacko know if you guys need to borrow a prone board I have one here that never gets used. It's a Bennett 11' race board that could be perfect to get across the road and into C'Creek for a few bridge to bridge time trials. Could be the beginning of a new obsession!

Might pay to let the stitches heal first though....

This story has it all. Danger, romance, comedy, a speeding ambulance on its way to a wedding.... Flesh it out a bit and send in to Cassos APS magazine
