Just recovering continued with physical therapy and strengthening the muscle i have a nice 5 days session, the first i used my more stable board the Airborne 7.10 x 31.5, and i have fun a lot and not extra pain on achilles. So the last 2 days i used the starboard Pro 8.0 x 29 , this board is gonna be my prefer one.
Sometimes it is just tight calf muscles, as it was for me. Just stretched the soleus and gastrocnemius calf muscles and it went away. Theory: took a load off the achilles. Calf massage as previously suggested might help a lot as well. Of course do not do anything that aggravates it more.
Did the same thing , just stretched out lower leg daily 3 times a day and it just went away without any further treatment.
