easy to call a board over rated but if you haven't surfed it in all conditions how do you know what your talking about?? And as for JP boards the 8'6 is the best backhand board i've ridden!!!
performance of a board is a big part of having and opinion, and the way people treat there gear is also gauge on how boards stands up and how well there are made, the psh i had is still going around and in great condition so once again how do you have an opinion if you haven't owned or surfed a board??
i have been told that a lot of well known sups are all made in the same factories.it would be interesting to find out by someone in the know if this is indeed true.if so ,are there different quality levels that brands can buy into, which could effect price and quality?
Is this really a thread that needs to live on??? Surely what ever gets you in the water is ok as far as I can see. I ride Starboard, simply cause they cater for Fat Old Bastards and give me the feeling of being young again, but I love my Fanatic race board, and my old Naish Mana was an awesome board to learn on.
The latest NSP boards seem to be pretty good, the really cheap boards that you can buy around the place are ok to learn on, surely we are past this whose board is hottest crap?
Ive had my sunday night rant lets move on
