This morning i had some time to spend on the internet so I gues here we have the 2013 Fanatic Falcom Race board... Still i'm not sure because it's really close to the current Fly Race (the paint job makes it even closer too):
"The all new Fanatic Falcon race boards. This year available in both 12'6" and 14' and in both lengths , they will be available in 25" wide. 27.5" wide and 30" wide. I rode the 12'6" x 25" and the 27.5". These boards are FAAST and surprisingly stable in flat water, and incredible in strong downwind conditions. I was surfing the 12'6" x 25" in surf stance, foot steering like a surfboard and paddling through the waves in front of me. It was incredible! So fast and hunted out every runner, never missed a beat, never nose dived, even when up on the mid point, never skewed away, but was devastatingly quick and lively. I've never ridden anything remotely like it, and that was the 12'6"! New shape, new graphics, new deck pads, and very hard to wash ride as they put out minimal wash at speed. The board that truly is fast in flat, choppy and downwind conditions.
The new racers are available in HRS and also full carbon so you can have a competitive board and carbon paddle for well under $2500. We will bring HRS boards in to order, or if you want one of the new Carbon ones in whichever size, let us know before we order for a great deal. Naturally, the 25 is fastest in both lengths, and stability increases as width increases. All are VERY FAST and will depend on rider weight more than anything when deciding on sizing. I think the 27.5 will suit most riders around 80-100kg's, lighter or flat water only, you could easily go the 25, heavier or mad for crazy downwinders, go the 30. I'll probably race a 25 for flat water and a 27.5 in the ocean. Lots of volume in the Falcons this year so the 12'6" is fast even for me!

Hey Coque,
The pics of that 14ft that Chase is riding are of the current 14ft Flat water shape just the new grafx on it.
How ever i can tell the new 14ft x 25" new shape is awesome and all will be revealed very soon.
We have been putting it thru the paces pretty hard and it rocks in all conditions.
Stay tuned.

Yep, ordered my 14' x 25" Falcon today. The wait is going to kill me, but I WILL have it for the Classic paddle [}:)]
If it is even remotely like the 12'6" x 25" I paddled at the dealer meeting, I will be a very happy paddler. ![]()

WOW! Thanks for the pics. Is the deck of the Falcon concave? Seeing the 2013 boards is good/not so good as I WAS ready to buy a 2012 12'6 at the end of the week and now I'm all messed up. Thanks again!

just released info on 2013 Allwave, Fly Allround, Ripper, Fly Inflatables, Ray.
Still waiting on Falcons and Prowaves
My local shop informed me today that it may be about 2 1/2 months before I am able to purchase a 2013 Falcon.
I was ready to buy the 12'6 this week....is the Falcon worth the wait?
Hey Noland,
From my experience with the 25" and hearing the feedback from the team that has developed and tested the new Falcons. I'm fairly confident in saying it would be worth the wait. ![]()

There will be new pics released of the new 14ft falcon I rode yesterday at Aussie titles 20km marathon.
They are coming!
I can however tell you that I've never ridden a 14ft board as good as this one :) loved it and didn't feel like a race more like having fun the whole way! It links bumps like u wouldn't believe and if there is any side chop or wind it handles it perfectly.
Yesterday's race had all conditions from glassy with no wind at the start, then it turned into wind behind our backs with small bumps, then a side wind with hard choppy water, then once around the lighthouse point it was epic downwind!!!
Hard race but so much fun on that board.
For the record I didn't fall off once but I would imagine the 25" in super choppy conditions abit of a handful for some and I would suggest the 27.5".
The 25" was perfect for me and I couldn't be happier :)

Two more pics of the new Falcon:
Here it looks like it has a wider nose and a narrower tail:
And here it seems again like it has a less exagerated displacement hull/bow shape, in fact for me it looks now closer to Hobie race boards... If the board is as fast as the current model, the 2013 could be much more versatil to use it in a wider range of conditions (race, DW...):
Hey guys, the first above pic is the 2013 14ft carbon falcon and the pic with me running is the 12'6 falcon 2013 shape.
U can see how pulled in thru the tail the 14ft is and it's no slouch in the flat or in the ocean, I'd say a perfect mix which allows u to only have one 14ft board instead of one flat water and one ocean.
Fanatic have been working super hard on r'n'd and the 2013 gear is awesome, especially the race boards.
If anyone wants to purchase these amazing new fanatic boards I be in contact with your local fanatic shop and put some money down as I can assure u they won't last long on the shop's shelves.
Get in now and pre order one as they will sell out!!
If anyone has any questions please pm me.

I already have a 14ft board flat water board and was kinda hoping the new 14ft by 30 would be the ideal downwinder for me at 105 kgs.
Any information would be appreciated re the 14 x 30 and its DW potential.
Thanks for the pics of the 14 x 25 although the tail looks pretty extreme. Whats the design aspect behind the pinched in tail?
Using the new model 12'6. Picking up the smallest of bumps and riding it all the way at Port Maquirie National Tech Race.
As I wait for the new Falcon to come on the market I'm looking into a Naish Glide 12'6 for my wife. She loves SUPing and is now on an 11' surf board so to keep her "in love" with the sport I figure I'll surprise her with something a little faster and shiny. She will not be able to ride it for a few months due to a surgery so I'll have to step up and test ride it until I can get my hands on the Fanatic. It's the least I can do for her!
A young lady from the local SUP shop called today. She said they received a call from Fanatic in Miami that the Falcons should be in the shop about mid October. Still a little ways off but nice to know there's some talk in the shop about new Fanatics coming soon.
By some weird fluke or mistake, one of the 14' x 27.5" Falcons is in our first order of North stuff and is en-route as we speak. ![]()
We should have it by around mid September. It'll be the only one in Oz until later in October.
A win for the good guys! ![]()
