I know which direction i'll be heading in the sport of Downwinding. FASTER IS BETTER

How did the others in the water at Dee Why take to it? I would have thought that it would be a relatively crowded place to take a foil.
GusD, It's interesting now we have pretty good control. As long as your not endangering anyone, there is a lot of curiousity. The young grommies go off and are screaming and cheering when you get up. This said, we are sitting wide and riding the un-ridden ones, never bailing and taking a rumbling if needed to keep our gear away from others, also our level of riding now we're very rearly stacking. The beauty of shortboard foiling is you can duck dive, this makes a huge difference to SUP foiling were getting through rogue sets can be interesting.
In general, stay away from people, let the lineup know your foiling. Make sure your skill level is up to it. Use your brain and don't be a d!ck.
Ride safe,
JB
