Judging by the sheeting positions for the headsails, the headsails are more like No2's and a much better balanced rig than IOR style rigs.
I have a staysail that is flown under a spinnaker, The clew reaches back to the cockpit.
Looks like the sails are working well in that photo. Fashion is very important in yacht rigs, the rules or more importantly the loopholes is what governs rigs. Bring back Bloopers I say.
