I've cut the short end shorter but no joy. I am now using the bit I cut off, about 1cm long, and will put a socket from a miniature socket set on it and see if I can get enough leverage. My next option will be to cut the long arm down to see if I can get it into a good position.

This is the rear cabin bulkheads being lifted into place for glueing into the hull assembly. This is after the infusion process. Rearward of this and yet to be fitted is a bulkhead to isolate the rudder posts in case of a hull breach from the rudders striking something. It is surprising how small the rudders are, they would probably measure less than 5 feet. I suppose them being smaller is an advantage of having dual rudders, I am hoping if I hit anything and shear one off I can always get home on the other one (as long as the tack takes me in the right direction!)
The foam filled chambers you can see are inbuilt into the bow and stern and both sides of the boat. It cuts down on stowage under the bunks, but according to the manufacturer this gives it a truly unsinkable capability, you could drill holes in the bottom and it wont sink.

HG. I got the Allen bolts out of the flywheel using the method you suggested. I left the top one in but very loose so the flywheel wouldn't
fall off onto my foot, however I couldn't pull the flywheel off. I even bribed my mate with a cup of coffee to give me a hand but with the two
of us pulling it wouldn't budge. I think we managed to get a slight looseness by trying to 'twist' it off but that was as far as we got.
So do I need to hire a puller and if so can I use the belt groove to locate the puller in. How did you get yours off HG.

Roughed out the bed base and worked out the draws as far as what ill do in there Ill bring the center section home tomorrow and make up the slide for the table.

Personally I would get her rigged and powered and finish the fit out while living aboard providing there's no grinding and sanding to be done.
also I would just cap the skin fittings forward and fill with fixtech 15 rather than glassI got them in. Would be much cheaper and convenient. But that's just my thoughts. Regards
