as much as I don't think I will ever go back to owning a mono because of the things I love about multis - speed, space, speed, stability, shallow draft, did I mention speed - multis will, however, never have quite the aesthetic appeal of a good monohull.
I just can't say that I've seen too many pretty cats, and that includes my own girl. Although, the Erik Lerouge Azuli F40 that I am working towards is beautiful in the eyes of this beholder...not excessive freeboard, only 5ft headroom in the bridgedeck (my height

) so not boxy...very sassy.
But, then again, some of the bigger tris are quite charming - the old Crowther Buccaneers or there's a green Grainger called Ocean Emu that's just stunning!
