Well done. For your crew on the way to Wilsons Prom thought it might be of use to advise that we sailed a Farr11.6 around from Adelaide to Sydney in 1980 and stopped in Refuge Cove 1/2 way on the journey - guess it was so named to shelter from fierce westerlys. It is very small.............but was a good stop off for us at the time to re-group and do the 2nd half of the sail to Sydney.

Thanks, yes they are intending to stay at Refuge Cove for a few days. It's one of my favourite anchorages. They are sailing outside the gass / oil rigs plotting a dog leg course just outside Kingfish B but inside the shipping lane. 2 miles out from the rig should be ok then once passed, heading for Refuge Cove.
They have been enjoying their stay at Refuge Cove going for a Bush walk etc. Apparently there is a leak of hydraulic oil from the auto pilot so this morning 3 of my boys towed their Hains hunter to Welshpool and motored out to Refuge to deliver the needed oil for the remainder of the trip. They also are picking up their brother who has commitments so will not do the final leg from The Prom to Westernport.
