Second hand Aircraft tires get too far out of balance, hitting the Tarmac at 150kmh at a static situation burns some real nasty flats on them.

flat spotted tyres can be buffed back to being round again- any place that retreads tyres can do the job- not sure what the cost would be compared to buying new aircraft tyres though- but I guess that new aircraft tyres are a bit pricey!
