Can you show us a close up of the rail runners/bearing system.

You have put a lot of work into getting it to run so smoothly and stay centred on the rails. A first class effort !!!!

I had a bit of an advantage- one of the Brandrill bosses that visited Wodgina when I was working there happened to own a property in the southwest that has an abandoned trainline running past his back fence.
We brainstormed how to build outriggers for mountainbikes so they could ride on one of the unused rails, with a collapsable outrigger reaching to the other rail.
The riders pack was used as ballast on the outrigger to prevent tipping over.

The outrigger unclipped and could be stowed on the bike so you could still ride on roads.

The boss was planning on making a couple to test- and if it worked, hiring them out to tourists.

I was transfered to Sinclair soon after and never found out what happened.

and that gentlemen is what we should all be doing with our kids on weekends.
