There they go again!.. Nothing like Govt' departments and Insurance Companies to Stuff Up a perfectly good Club. It will get so bogged down in Red Tape and internal Conflict that the members will require a lot of commitment. Remember I have watched clubs get so top heavy the memberships dropped exponentially in a very short time.
I don't want to be a Wet Blanket but I call it as I have seen it.

we are all well aware of the legal requirements that will need to be put in place but we are only more or less a week or so old and at this stage still learning to "swim" ,, i know that there are liability issues and such but one of our aims is NOT to get bogged down in red tape if at all possible,,, sure there needs to be some formal "things" taken of but first lets get up and running and get some members into the club first,,,and at the moment we are putting orselves forward as asocial club not a sporting club in order to take care of any "issuse" at the moment we are a happy little bunch of land sailers and thats the way we wish to stay
