Congrats to competitors, organisers and volunteers (I know you're there somewhere Ruth) for a well run event. Hopefully I will be better situated for the trip up next year.

Looking forward to some more pictures soon.

Just made it home tonight back to Brisbane via Longreach and Winton after leaving Yeppoon. A really funny sight in the middle of Longreach caravan park with six sails plastered around the place on the concrete slabs drying out after all the rain on Monday at Yeppoon. We found so many good places to sail out west even though the wind was light but just didnt have time to unpack and setup. There is always next time.

Thanks so much to all our friends up north who put on such a great event yet again. Staying in the same house as some of the organisers I can really appreciate how many hours they spend of their own time working on stuff so that it looks like everything is running so smoothly.

Bernie and I are really chuffed at both winning our first blokart trophies and they will certainly take pride of place. I am still proud of my greatest achievement of actually finishing the marathon, even if a was last by a long way and hypothermic and could hardly function!! Luckily a hot shower fixes most things! Looking forward to the next event at Hillsborough.
