The guy was ok, didn't seems to hurt himself at all, surprising as he flew past the window of my van and landed in the car park. His kite was well stick in the tree so he didn't get dragged anymore. A few of us untangled him but getting his kite down good luck with that.
It was not a good idea to launch a 9m behind the trees in a wind shadow. I had already decided to was way too mental for my 8m, the only kite out was a 6m and he looked way over powered, it's a long drive back to Melbourne but I still have a kite. Think twice
What bugs me about idiots like this is he could have taken out someone in the process and if he puts kite in the road, he puts kiting in jeopardy at a prime winter kiting location. If you want to go out and kill yourself, do it somewhere remote.
I agree with the comments about this. Nothing intermediate about it, if he is a intermediate, he's the kind of intermediate that needs a big ****ing P plate on his kite so others know to stay away
