I love those photos Mick. Keep 'em coming. Any chance that you might capture the next downwinder in the same fashion ? An aerial shot of the kites getting to chicken shop would be really cool....

Well wednesday came and wentand downwinders were done. Grant was out on a 10m and surfboard at the back of the shop. Kat and I got a short run in down to Bower road. Yes it was light but great for praticing unhooked moves. Kat made her first unhooked attempts and came back in grinning like a cheshire cat. I was finally landing my unhooked S bends and nailing surface passes. That was more due to the kite I reckon. The new 11m fuel is awesome hooked or unhooked.

It was a light wind session but Craig and I were out on 9m Rev and waroo with surfboards havin a ball in the 1' mushy shore break, first boardy only session of the year for me. The mankini run is fast approaching! Phil went back to old skool style and was out on a 10m open cell foil with a skim board, the amount of time he spent unhooked he may as well of left the harness of as well.
