Very nice steering, kite flies extremely smooth and comfy to fly. Just pure fun and joy - not sure if it was the overwhelming feeling as the first to fly the 2011 kite Graphics has also been spiked up too, awesome LF logo. Overall, smooth riding, excellent power and speed. Was testing the 10m in about 12-16kts today. Outwin all other kites with ease.

That would likely be from the Liquid Force International Kite Dealer meeting thats on at the moment.......Riders and distributors from all over the world are currently meeting and testing all the new 2011 product

Images etc should be released on the net shortly after the completion of this meeting

Full range of 2011 kites will be in Australia ready for sale in 3 weeks time
Boards, harness etc shortly after that

Thanks

whats with the new pump system? is the pump just higher volume or have they changed the way the struts fill ie less restriction = easier pumping?
just want to know.

The new pump is a one piece mould, with no moving valves inside. It is short and fat and comes with standard tip to inflate normal valves kites, and the big connector for the new LF Maxflow valves. What makes it so efficient is the size of the valve. It is the biggest valve I have seen in today's kites. One way valve, no screwing, no twisting, just stick it over and pump away. Because of the size of the valve, maximum airflow is enabled, thus you can pump a kite up so much faster. When deflating, once you roll one side up, you dont even need to put a board over the rolled up side, because the valve is so big, the kite will not unroll when you roll the other side in. The new pump also comes with a pressure guage and it is the best pump I have come across to date.

10m in 12-16kt..? how was that and whats your weight? am struggling with choosing between the 12m or the 10m (80kgs). what do you think the genuine wind range is for this (and for the 12m btw).
also, shop dude tells me the Havoc doesnt come with Maxflow gadgetry.... ?? true/false? should i be telling him to cough up the goods?
