It was not too bad a day there today, good turnout . A little bit of carnage with a guys kite in a tree ( not a Cabrinha , Liquid Force I think ) . I cringed when I heard the canopy tearing when he was getting it down . Expect some business Kitepower.

Sorry to hear about your kite...Did you at least get to use it or did you hit the tree on the way into the water?

Winds look like north, north east tomorrow....
Any good spots on the lake, or surrounding areas with flat water?
I have only been to Primbee, and pretty sure it would be direct onshore in a Northerly... Any suggestions?

Where we launch at Primbee in westerlies a noreaster is offshore and the wind is blocked heaps from the trees to the northern side.Ive tried a few times myself there in a noreast, really flat water out near the jetty and clean wind, but couldnt get a kite up to get out there.Mate of mine sets up and drags his kite out for a drift launch, heaps of hassle because of the weed but he gets out some days.
I got a kite in at Warilla this arv NNE 15-17, will be back there tomorrow for sure.

Any kited this lake in a southerly? What's it like? I've only been in a south westerly an it was smooth.... Usualy I go to the beach but the swells are particularly big with the southerlys this time of year.

I would have thought that over near Berkely co-op would be good in a Southerly.

Just slightly off topic but still in the same area. I was down at Shell Harbour the other day and thought the beach just next to the caravan park looked like a kitable option. Any of you locals kited there and if so what's it like NE or SE winds?

Think your on about south shellharbour, nice beach have heard of kiters getting over there and should be fine on a N/E but anything south would be protected by bass point i'd think
