on one of those hot perth days with marginal winds when you look at the kiting zone and think to yourself, oh ****, how many incidents involving kiters and general beach users will we see today. Several minor incidents were observed while supping a cold frothie with two other, more experienced kiters. then, 20 metres upwind of us a fired up swimmer approached a kiter (not a local) who had just landed his kite, something had happened out on the water, heated words from the swimmer, shoulder shrugging from the kiter, then kiters mate comes in (also a kiter) more heated words, then a local kiter comes in to try and calm things down, fails, then kiters mate uses the "c" word,

, he then kops a better than average right-hander on the breathing instrument

.
Far better entertainment than the tv, but i fear all of the onlookers, kiters, clubbies, mums, dads and kiddies may look at it in a different light.
As for the answer, no idea, but i fear for the future of metro kiting
