Not only is dog waste not a pretty sight (or smell) so are some of the site sponsers, they seem to be determined to be a breeder of germs and disease. Dog feces plays a significant role in water pollution, especially in cities, and the bacteria that makes its way into streams, lakes and the water table can make people sick. Yet about 40% of Americans don't clean up after their dogs![1] Here are some ways to minimize the unpleasantness of this task. And if you see someone leaving their dog's mess behind, feel free to educate them on these methods, especially if it's poop scooping week!
•When you take your dog out for a walk, it may be inconvenient to carry along a pooper scooper. But you need to be prepared in the event that your pet decides it is time to do his duty. Bring along a plastic grocery store bag, or a bread bag. (I prefer something that is not clear, or see through.)
•Step 2
Put some baking soda in a shaker container. I use an empty baby powder container. A small container should fit in your pocket.
•Step 3
If your pet does his duty, sprinkle some baking soda on it. This cuts the smell, making it much easier to pick it up. Turn the bag inside out, and put your hand in it like it is a glove. Now pick up the poop, and pull the bag off your hand, and the waste should be in the bottom. Quickly tie it shut, and dispose of it as soon as you can. It is usually the smell that makes someone sick to their stomache.

Don't knock synchronised swimming. Fit women, who like the water, who have a sense of rhythm, can hold their breath for a really really long time. What's not to like?

Were they taking the piss with the opening song in that video? I thought my ears were going to bleed.

Windsurfing compares less favourably with kiting the lighter the wind gets, so kite race equipment will bring a few more to kiting.
