well there you go a happy ending to a heart felt story, for those who are still intrigued i sailed away into the sunset to complete the fairytale. i've never had a happier ending, in the water!

we'll see how long the kite lasts, just seeing it up in the air doing what it should be doing brought a tear to this kite repairers eye. it might be worth puting it out to pasture whilst it's as close to it's former glory as it will ever be.

EB to be honest mate i've only been kiting for 6 months and the best advise i can give is learn from you Fark Ups and be familiar with your safety release options! the lines and kite are probably 18 months old, but have been used pretty heavily since i've had the kite. it would be a good idea to inspect your equipment every time you set up. i also carry a line knife incase of any hairy situations where i need to cut the lines quick. as for the best option for safely getting in from a situation i'd be interested to hear advise from experienced kiters too.

Gerard that was me on Frankenstein Saturday at Woody's, we where talking in the carpark sunday eh?

I know Nath... Already used my detective skills and the powers that be to STALK him out, dont you worry. Its all good, just a joke.

But my detective and stalking skills are no where near as sharp as two certain individuals of names I shall not speak! You know who you are...

Yep that was me. For anyone that didn't know, he fixed this kite himself!

How long did that take anyway? What thread did you use??
