CORE ONLINE MAGAZINE would like to invite any riders to come down on the 20th of Jan to ride our A frame, kicker and C rail.

We'll be down for the day shooting the action, with photographers and videographers.
Adam Rat is going to bring the Red Bull to keep us going throughout the day.

Its a jam not a comp, just a chance to hit up the rails and kicker and hang out down the beach for the day, speactators are more than welcome.

Just bring your 'A' game and leave your fins at home.

Riders attending:

International:

Tom Court
Susi Mai
Mike Blomvall
Chris Burke

National
Ben Windings
Tom Condon
Dan Anderson
Adam Rat
and more...

See you there and spread the word, you'll be able to download this shot as a wallpaper in a few days from our website www.coreonlinemagazine.com

Cheers

Toby

( we are redoing the up section to the A frame to make it mellower and also not an ollie up. It looks steeper in this shot more from the angle and the fact its a fish eye lense too.
Ride the obstacles at your own risk.)

Another great event to add to my calendar. I am happy there is going to be a kicker! Might even unscrew the fins on my new board and give it a crack myself if thats allowed!

I'll come for a look on Sunday, but can't ride, unless I can work out how to strap bub on my back. Is it gonna be in on Sat? Can I come and session it then, and play spectator on sun?

the A Frame as pictured is in the water now, we've almost finished the extra up section so we're going to redo that this week
The C rail and Kicker are well on their way too.
So you could ride the A frame on Sat.

Also two more international riders attending:

Clinton Bolton
Jo Ciastula

The pipe doesnt really scratch your board up that much, unless you are really precious about your board. Definately need to take your fins off though. Hit at your own risk but it is worth a go, especially all the time and stuff we spent buillding it all and getting it down there you get all the benefits...

See you there....

hahaha exactly what i thought on the first look.

p.s. good that they realise its about a billion times to steep, whats with kiters trying to make everything always the biggest steepest gnarlyiest rail you have ever seen? just trying to do the whole thing is usually a task, you need something mellow so you can actually jib on it. watch a wakeboarding video first perhaps?, that might show you what sort of curves work after all they have been doing it alot longer.
peace.

Hey guys as Toby mentioned it's no where near as steep as it looks in that photo. Check out this picture I took which shows the realistic angle. Also we have just finished building an extra 2m section to the upramp to make it longer and mellower and still maintan the height.

Judge for yourself.

i was talking about kiting sliders in general. good work, keep it up.

p.s. he should get some bindings asap before he hurts his feet/ankles, or someones eyes.

serious? an axe? for real? thats hardcore stuff. i say set up a hiden camera somewhere and see who it is, im sure a nice de wheeling of their car would do nicely as payment for the speed slots in your slider.

i really hope no one has caused any damage to the slider...

Although i would not know the first thing about how to hit one, I would be more than happy to donate some money and time to repairing or building a new one...

call me at CHOICE 93367884 if you'd like to chat about the offer.

Also what time will the Slider-Jam be starting...?

i have a set of Mauricio Abreu AIRUSH pro bindings if any one needs bindings for the day i'm happy to lend them out... again call the shop if you need them.

good luck hope the wind blows for you guys!

Yeah the A frame is definately damaged I'm not lying, but the guys mainly just hacked up the tops piping. Slider Jam is still on we just taken it out for a bit to repair it, add a extra section and to keep it away from the vandals.

In all seriousness...

When I built mine, an old italian bloke came down with a handsaw and a small pick axe and destroyed mine because he wanted the piping for his pot plants.

We actually caught him doing the same on a similar one about 3 months earlier and he told us that it had obviously been washed ashore by a storm.

Watch out for the old italian gardening man boys.

Devo I won't be back for it.

who ever hit it with an axe is doing it all wrong, you need a kite and board for maximum enjoyment
btw, who da fnck red thumbed this, its brilliant and the slider is made safer than all the other home bodge jobs ive ever seen. kiteloops are potentially more dangerous

Hey Dave nice photos, the first one is of Simon Wichterman. The biggest challange of taking photos at woodies is getting a nice back ground. Get wet, it's the only way....

Nice background?!? The background doesnt change because I go out in the water, and it's not really worth it if the guys are pulling sick tricks 2 meters away from the shore..
