using that for handlepasses is like... saying your a F1 driver wen u race go karts...
why would you want to learn something and not learn it the proper way, by taking out the difficulty of a handle pass it just becomes like a simple boost... no point to it, it doesnt feel good doing **** half arsed.. its like if you going to build your house, will you do it properly or will you half arse it and stick it together with sticky tape?
as for passes they look silly because they are not powered.. passes are all about going in fast and lit up not slow and lofty...
Well, not really. More like trying a new move with a helmet. My cousin was Australian champ barefooter, and quite often he barefooted with training boots. Did this make him any softer? He became the best at what he did. I dont really think it would have long term damage like your extreme example of building a house out of sticky tape.
All sports have some kind of training tool. Another example is fight training, they use 12oz gloves in training with added head and body protection. Does this make them any weaker? Prolonging the time you are able to train in a sport without hurting yourself is actually like laying a proper foundation, rather then thrashing the engine at warmup.
I am living proof of pushing the envelope all the time. I can now never do freestyle again because of one stupid accident.
Just have fun, use any tool that comes your way to aid in this ultimate goal. =
