Thanks very much mate, confirmed what I thought about your dry season, the only thing that was throwing me was that all you guys seem to go to Bali in june/july, made me think I might be wasting my time flying in from Manila at that time of year.
cheers Tony

... actually most of us head to Bali that time of year because we're missing the waves. We have same same weather as Bali so we're not chasing warm weather like our southern brothers and sisters and to be honest, winds are better at home but man,,,, got to get some wave action or we'd go crazy.

Do you guys ever head over to Vietnam anymore?

No , we lost the direct flight to Saigon 4 or 5 years ago and started going to Bali as it is easy and has other things on offer for the non kiters.

We should have another look at though as it is during our off time of the year.

Hi everyone!

I arrived in Darwin yesterday (nice city and cool bars!)

Seems that the wind is blowing in the morning.
I'm planing to go south with my car just to visit natural parks but I intend to kite Tuesday morning.
Could someone advice me where to kite?

Thanks!

Hey Oliver go & dunk yourself in the croc tanks (crocasaurus park) but make sure it's a nice hot sunny day, or if you want to see how disinterested ( in attacking you ) go on a cool cloudy day
