Just take you bike instead, World Trail has just built a massive pump track in Gladstone.

Nope. Got a landkiting buddy there so i'll be buggying and foiling if weather allows. That is of course if this cyclone doesn't blow it all to pieces.

You couldn't pay me to kite anywhere near Gladstone. They've trashed that place with the LNG works. After this storm there is going to be a lot of nasty **** in the water for a while. In Yeppoon you'll just be dodging cows and fences washed down river. I came across one 5 miles off shore in 2011.

Well it's locked in now cyclone or otherwise. Well worst case scenario is that I chillax at the beach for a few days before diving into one of those nasty lng plants
