Dear big wave dreamer

- please don't assume everything ocean-side belongs to those on a surfboard being
towed thru the surf zone by a kite (as opposed to surfing the wave).
I'm sure we can all find a little bit of joy on the coast without yet another us vs them situation of TT vs SB.[}:)]

IMO there is no justification to a SB having any more cred or ROW in mushy onshore slop. These are blobs of mush vaguely resembling waves and almost impossible to say where the wave begins and ends.
If you are 1st into the breaking zone - regardless of the craft - then go for it and expect a reasonable distance from surrounding craft.
Yes - I ride a twinny (but don't cut anyone's grass) and if I am in the zone 1st with ROW have equal right to the zone.
Twin-tips take differant lines and approaches to the breaking waves and it pays to keep that in mind. Certainly I keep in mind the most likely trajectory of the SB tow-ins
north and south of me when i'm approaching the zone.
Equal respect = equal fun.
Simple.

Totally agree on these BTW
The First 2 rules of kiting are and will always be:
1. Downwind kite stay low, upwind kite stay high
2. Look behind before turning
If everyone disciplined themselves in these we could double the kiters out without it feeling like a crowd
Amen.
