these are all gold, but no-one can beat waxing the bottom a a surfboard. -seriously. although i did have to point out to a fellow aussie that its the bottom of a snowboard that gets waxed.

Heh, different to surfboard wax, you melt it with an old iron onto the base and then iron it into your board base. The pores in your base open up and suck in wax. After it cools and goes hard you scrape off the excess.
It's hydrophobic so it repels water - less friction - makes it easier to turn and go faster! Its one of my favourite snowboard rituals - the waxing of the board prior to the powder day mmmmmmmmnnnnnnn.....
