Have you seen the boots that go with it? Now lets see how quickly you can kick off the cabrinha "bindings" and see how little chance you have of kicking off these snowboard bindings when the going gets tough. The whole thing with bindings is you are permanently attached, hardly the case with the Cab's.
Why do you insist on posting different sport bindings to try back up your point. Its stupid. I could easily post pictures of a gay bar and use the same justification to say they should be called a kite bar. Two different thing but according to Steve and User logic (or lack there of), they are the same.
The reality is by kitesurfing standards, they are straps. Look at every pair of kiteboarding bindings and they are boot like. Look at every set of straps and they are strap like. The cabs are strap like. As Steve said, Cabrinha have a right to call them bindings, but that means we have a right to think they are idiots for doing it as well, and honestly in this case, I think they're idiots and I think a lot of people are going to think they are idiots for it. Even their own team riders think they are straps.
