You don't need to add foxes, the fox population fluctuates depending on food supply and predation. Adding an apex predator will solve the ecological balance. Apex predators are slow breeding, and stabilise ecosystems, in water and land..
My point was that from the
planets perspective, one shark is more valuable than another bloody human, no matter what LLanes book says..
They killed all the sharks off the coast of America and Humbolt squids (ocean foxes?) replaced them, totally destroyed a balanced ecosystem (along with human over fishing)..
Healthy populations of sharks are priceless, humans are, frankly, expendable..
