Had a rant about my local pizza shop (halal pizzas ) I acted and built my own pizza oven, it is now ready and producing the best ever pizzas with bacon ham sausage and all the delicacies! See below my first produced pizza (little over cooked at the edges) sooooooooooooooooooo yummy!

It is called an Absynth fountain keeps the water cool and deliver the exact amount of water at the right speed on top of the sugar cube to disolve it! That one is a gift from my cousin in Europe it in an antique from around year 1900, I love it!
The bird looks good!

The dome is made of refractory concrete, bought it from a place in bayswater....cooks a pizza in about 2 min.... easy to burn the edges

Ahhhh Felix - I'm at work scoffing a sad old Beef & Pickle sanga , struggling to wipe the drool off my fur & paws , my tongue is hanging lower each time I scrutinise that sumptuous buffet (and I see a feline for the Pup to romp after too) and alllllllll the trimmings .... It's even pushing aside my inner thought's of boobies and lower!
I've got a fresh batch of Italian Snags I recently made and I believe they'd sizzle off just superbly in that little cave....
Where's Jennifer hawhins - she's the only piece missing in the picture for me anyways!

Put them on our pizzas already felix (tastiest little bastids i can vouch truly - absolutely ****es ALL over any deli snag you can buy as you do know nothing compares to good recipe Italian Snag)
We get the Pork from Waroona down south , along with the chili too - I know someone in Freo who provides the plonk & anisa.
Bought myself a $550 mincer and accessories and it's the bees knees - even stuffs the casings!

Used one for the first time a couple of weeks ago in Darwin. Cool little contraption but don't remember anything from about midnight...

Haha! Anything was possible that night. Woke up in a hotel room at the casino with my Mrs. Mini bar empty and two other random people asleep on the floor. Funny thing was we weren't even staying at the casino... Was like something out of The Hangover.

Groan , hunger drool , covetous gut rumble , more drool .... aw well , that pile of bricks down the back and the smaller pile of shekels I got stashed away are under dire, dire threat now .... no way the old gas oven can compete with that little set-up , even my S O the A 6 burner barbie looks sadder than flaccid doodle at a poledance right now!

Can't help but notice the loads of toppings ready to go, including the cat. But with Doggie and bulldogpup's bellies grumbling, one cat aint going to be enough to go around.

Lol

In related news apparently it is not illegal to eat your house pets (yes that's dogs and cats too) in most states as long as they don't suffer excessively during the process.

Why you would is another story all together!

Hey Doggie! Dogs do not eat dogs.......... the same goes for cats
I am experimenting with the oven I had potatoes gratin and I baked a few loafs of bred I am also building a rack that will fit inside and will hold any type of meat on a long skewer thingy!
It is all about learning how to get the right heat!

Oh god no felix - it's my last day at work for the week and I'm still badly scarred from those sumptuous temptations you salaciously teeeeeeeeased this Pup with yesterday .... I went out back last night and gazed longingly at that pile of bricks and all i could see was an Italian sausage topped thin crusty wafting up .... for the first time in months i didn't have boobies in me inner thoughts (well for 10 minutes anyways)
I had several beers and chased the cat .... goat leg would go in that cave just niiiiice!

Here's one I prepared earlier, cost $250 and a day and a bit to build.

Getting the heat right is definitely the trick, and when you finish cooking , open the door and fill with wood , makes a great outdoor fireplace!
Just sold the house , so am looking forward to building the next one, pizza oven too!!

Check them... that was the easiest kit avail. as the dome is already made. Just need a bit of help to lift it as it is about 80 Kg. The kit is complete but you have to make a frame to support the oven. Make the frame high enough so you can stand in front of the oven and look straight in it without having to bend over!
For the frame I used 25 mm square steel.

The base is supplied and it is made of aerated concrete and you build the oven refractory base on top of it.

Have fun and send pics!
