NYear resolution is coming back

The warranty is replacing camera - it had water in it - when the repair people opened up.
I hope this is not a recurring issue as not planning on changing how I use it!! Probably less shots once novelty wears off.
I will be using the silicon skin when it comes as this will put an extra barrier to stop sand or grit getting into a seal. I am assuming with my original that this might have caused a seal failure?? Not sure how as only open camera to charge or download pik's all at home.
I noticed today mine is getting water past the seals on both covers, everything still works ok though

at the moment anyway
Just got my pentax w60 the other day. Haven't tried it in the deep blue sea yet, but i took some great shots in the bath.
BUT, when i use the movie mode in the water, you can hear all the clicks and clack of each frame of film...weird. Theres a video of the same thing of a whaleshark filmed on a w60 you can hear the clicks and taps. but it complements the supermario music well.
I didn't get the clicks and taps before i immersed it, but i am still getingthat noise on videos today.
Also the movie quality wasn't as i expected. less than 1 megapixel per frame. When they said it took HD movies, i assumed it meant at least a better quality than my 3-4 year old sony camera. Apparently HD is just the ratio of the picture, but i am assured the pixelation shows up really well on HD TV.

BUT it takes excellent photo's and has the drive mode 10 second programable interval.... but the storeman assure me the olympus does not have that. But he didn;t know pentax could either.
Alot of non-water proof cameras have these features including the nikkon range. They are the best value for money on features in a non water proof camera i think.
If you are thinking about buying one and If you want me to try something with my W60, let me know.... keep it clean.
