I don't think Trump is covering up that he has raped children. He's covering up something more sinister.
Epstein is known for trafficking hundreds of women and girls to the elite, what's less known is what else he was involved in - and that's not coming out.

This is plausible as Trump's threats on Panama over the Chinese ports last year, has recently resulted in Panama authorities taking back control of these ports.

I think it's a fair point. My understanding is that the Epstein files were politicized by Trump over Bill Clinton's ties to him. Prior to Trump's 2.0 presidency he said he would release the files on day one. But he backflipped, and then capitulated only when forced to release them.

Epstein died in 2019. The evidence was collected over the course of the following years "The Epstein Files" are a mass aggregation of emails, pictures, and other communication. Thev didn't exist in their current state during the Biden administration, they were being put together during that time. And as a active investigation the DOJ doesn't release anything being used as evidence.

No one really knows how this will pan out. If it's a short war and there is regime change in three or four weeks, and we go back to discussing the Epstein Files, that would be the best scenario.
Hopefully I'm wrong, but I don't think that will happen. Now I'm thinking the war will likely continue and Trump will double down and escalate it so the mid term elections will be put on hold / thwarted / manipulated.

Recently Ilistened to a podcast where the same question "would Russia invade if Ukranie had nukes?" came up. The opinion from the analyst was: remember that the war in Ukraine had started in 2014 with Russian occupation of Crimea and the Western world pretty much ignored it.
At that time Ukraine was far more unstable and if Ukraine had nuclear weapons, the theory was that the Western World would probably even support Russia.
I'm not sure if this "what if" scenario is realistic, but does provide another point of view.

On the ground here and there seems to be more flights / routes being added each day.
I registered with DFAT and said I wasn't in immediate danger or stranded and now get daily advice by email. They don't seem to be arranging flights, rather just tell you what commercial flights are departing, the rest is up to you. Even if it means paying $5k for a one way ticket.
Anyway, I'll keep going to work and hope the chances of planned 02 April departure improve.
