Wow, nice job!

$500 will deck your whole workshop out in Ozito, with money to spare...

Awesome!

FYI - my old man got me a 14V Ozito cordless drill / driver about 14yrs ago - I remember being a little dissapointed that it was not a Black 'n' Decker or another name brand...

I used the thing a LOT. Through a full house renovation etc and the charger/batteries only just gave up last weekend (as it turns out as I was putting up shade cloth for Mrs GPA's vege patch).

Went to Bunnings and looked - saw Ryobi etc for $299... and then found a very nice looking 18V Ozito with two batteries and 24 torque settings - built in spirit level, battery indicator and LED light for - - - - - - $99 with 3yr warranty!!

No choice to make after the service the last one gave me

and funny enough we are moving very shortly to Mandurah and have
a home that needs a complete reno...so they are very well timed...

That is fantastic - good luck.

I was just admiring your wall.... This is going to sound really strange, after visiting Perth over many years, I've finally worked out the key thing that I love about WA - sandstone. One day I want to live in a property that is built from the stuff. One of those prison warders cottages adjacent the markets in Fremantle would be ideal.

Totally agree adolf...we have planning permission to build a great container home on the property we are moving to...but I can't see myself being happy living with steel all around me....so we have looked in to sandstone and it is not too expensive and you can build yourself if you get the right size blocks...I would prefer a block that was not a size at all...but with a self build that might not be practical.

What ever the structure I would prefer a hay bail home, a rammed earth home or some form of stone or sandstone....Bf would like to try containers...
but the block we have (with asbestos home on it right now) is 1400 m2 - 3 homes from the serpentine river and boat ramp...

So the options are wide and varied ...we will live in the home on site till me decide what to do....
