10.- The cat doesn't want to be let out.
9.- You stop putting things in the fridge.
8.- The sitting room looks more like a bedroom.
7.- The climate control stops displaying the temperature, and just displays LO.
6.- The office greeting becomes, "isn't it cold".
5.- There are more cars with white tops than usual.
4.- You drive everywhere instead of taking the bike.
3.- Your motor bike displays an accident icon.
2.- There's no hot water cos your hot water pipe froze.

And the #1 reason you know it's cold, there's less cleavage on display around town!

The propaganda ministry stops talking about Global Warming.

Look my mate with the weather station sent me this...

Yup, -14.6 wind chill, on the coast just south of Sydney.

Its cold when a Canadian comrade complains about the cold.

Its cold when you get a $700 power bill in September.

Bloody cold in Sydney too. The weather reminds me of living in Crookwell and Armidale, both towns that are located just under 1000 meters in altitude.

I had the dubious pleasure of living in Oberon for four years and Walcha for one. Walcha is the coldest town in the world, but Oberon comes a close second. Was living in a renovated corrugated iron church with 18 foot ceilings and got snowed in for five days, unable to get the car out.

Fortunately I was in a pretty new relationship so we managed to generate a fair bit of heat!

That's alright mate, our summer more than makes up the difference, it's not even THAT cold really. I still go running with the dog at night in the pitch black in shorts and a t-shirt

When it's -5 C and the air is damp THAT is when it's c***py like where that oil spill is in the States. That sucked when your hands and back of the ears used to hurt from just walking around outside. It was worse than the -20 and dry in Canada when snowboarding.

When I'm replying to this and not out in the surf.

When I'm sitting here still defrosting from last weeks surf.

When you jump in the water to paddle out and land on and slide across an iceberg.
