I reckon I've watched the 80's hit movie 'Cocktail' starring Bryan Brown & Tom Cruise (for those not familiar) on Foxtel 4 times in as many weeks. As I flick through the channels it just seemed to be on. This is one movie I can watch many times and still enjoy it.
There are a few movies that sping to mind:

Shawshank Redemption
A Few Good Men
Top Gun.

What's your top 3 you could watch over many times & still enjoy ?

My movie collection is ~500 strong.

Dune (1984)
The Matrix
Aliens

PS: I got the Star Wars saga the other day... Star Wars 1-3 are sooo crap, it really makes me believe the US of A has become retarded since the 80's.

Star Wars 4-6 are awesome, and the Prequels are for retards. Jar Jar Binks WTF! Did George Lucas have a stroke?

I'm still in my 30's but movies these days are being really dumbed down. Movies from the 70's-80's were good, without spelling everything out.

None of those films do it for me.

I rarely watch movies a second or third time and usually dont see something new in watching the movie again. But in saying that I've now watched Apocalypse Now three times. I always find something new in that movie.

True to form Adolf as I know you like to 'go against the grain' a bit. Truth is we have something in common. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning".

You bring back memories. John C Holmes to be precise.
He made plenty with Marilyn Chambers.

If you want a movie that you will always find something new every time you watch it, give Bad Boy Bubby a try!

Somehow I don't see myself going there. I found that movie hard to watch all the way through.

"Pretentious rubbish" springs to mind.

Lock stock was damn good but the soundtrack is what made that movie for me. Otherwise I'm sure I would've been bored of it long ago esp. with everyone quoting it.

I think I rushed my top 3.
There are so many classics.
Pulp Fiction & Lock Stock & 2 Smockin Barrels is in there.
A classic movie must have classic quotes and they both fit that catagory.

There are lots of really crappy movies being repeated on this thread. Top Gun, Caddyshack, The Abyss, The Matrix, Predetor, Groundhog Day - WTF

Spare me. Can someone please poke both my eyes out with a burning stick!
