it baffles me why anyone smokes, drinks too much or hits the drugs or whatever. life has so much to offer without getting mind altered.

An hour ago I had a really clever answer,
then had I a few cold ones ,a few hot ones,
now

What was the question again??

Some of the best and most memorable times of my life have been when I'm altered... just some of the great experiences life has to offer.

Life is about experiences, it dumbfounds me how people close themselves off to all life has to offer.

yeah i can see that view. i guess i just didnt enjoy it when i tried. no kick for me. bigger buzz jumping out of planes or surfing great waves.

I'm not a fan of stimulants or depressants.
I drink good wine($35) and whisky (~$100) for the taste cos the buzz is nasty.

I am a fan of hallucinogens cos while rare, sometimes you can experience some REALLY magical things that science has no answers for, so they're just imagined. but I've shared some of those experiences and it changed me and the other people who experienced them in an insightful manner.

Australia's drugs of choice are marijuana and stimulants... marijuana that hasn't been grown in sun light is plain nasty crap, I refer to it as dungeon weed.

Jumping off (flying) a cliff cost me a lot, and is still costing me... that was one bad trip I couldn't/can't wake up out of it.

Sounds like you were on datura.

Imagining one can fly and attempting to prove it is quite common with that gear.

No Cisco, I was on an Airwave Sport 3... and I could fly, I just miscalculated where my ass was.

Some interesting books I have read on various drugs.

My personal experience has been with alcohol, thc, psycillisybin (spelling?), valium and pepinol pills (isseud to ex convicts in NZ to counteract side effects from withdrawal of fluvenezine).

Still a regular beer drinker and occasional toker.

a big factor for me to steer away from narcs is that ive been involved 1st hand on overdoses of 2 people i know, 1 died. another 2 died indirectly from smack causing weekness of their hearts, and another close mate necked himself in a tree in a public area years ago who triggered and increased his depressive problems beyond help.
wasnt going to mention this stuff but theres more to it than just the drugs directly doing damage right there and then. only 2 of these persons was a heavy user. 3 were women.

i personally dont care about the drug debate but i have known way more people that have taken there life over broken relationships and money troubles than the ones over drug issues.

yeah, some use and abuse to compensate for issues. just a matter of the line of use and abuse i guess, no matter what the substance.
some chew chalk, some food and others drug of choice.

I tried to see things from his point of view, But I couldn't fit my head up his arsehole too."
