Nickel is a critical component in lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles, and under current policies, its demand has skyrocketed by 87.2% - highlighting the urgent need for sustainable mining practices and secure supply chains to support the green energy transition.

I agree but the video targets EVs and the reality is most nickel is still used for stainless.

"Nickel is primarily sold for first use as refined metal (cathode, powder, briquet, etc.) or ferronickel. About 65% of the nickel consumed in the Western World is used to make austenitic stainless steel. Another 12% goes into superalloys (e.g., Inconel 600) or nonferrous alloys (e.g., cupronickel)."

Fascism! LOL , I think you just write down the most recent brain farts that fulminate in your head.

Yeah cause nothing screams democracy more than snatching people off the street and locking people up who you don't agree with.

you have the right to freedom of speech, for the sake of the world we all live in please put it to good use.

Free speech is whole other subject but I couldn't agree more, we need to protect it. The major parties are on a unity ticket when it comes to free speech, they are both a bad as each other, they are both seeking to limit it under the guise of hate speech or misinformation and disinformation and its being regulated by an esafety commisioner or "fact checkers" who decides what the is truth and isn't.

I won't vote for either of them for that very reason, free speech is being undermined.

No one should be doing it. You should be able to think critically enough to work it out yourself.

Are you dreaming?????
So what about the millions that can't think critically enough to decipher all the clever obfuscation and out right lies?
They can still vote, take or not take desirable or undesirable substances.
Be too young not to be incited into hatred and division.

You are not living in the real World!
Just look around and see the damage done by misinformation, because people can't work it out themselves.

However I do admit, sorting out what to do about it is above my pay grade!
How do you insure the fact checker is totally unbiased and completely honest?

I know, somebody is going to say AI, but I don't think that's the answer either

pffft, can't you work out that there really is no such thing as free speech.

I think your dreaming,

Those millions you mention are the people who are most at risk of following a narrative or propaganda.

If there is no counter argument for a given position or subject then those people will surely just follow blindly with what ever they are told or incited to do.

Not sure how much of this is misinformation but I suspect if your openly claiming people you oppose politically are fascist's or if your chanting from the "river to the sea" your probably already someway down this path.

Then again maybe is just misinformation that should be suppressed

Are you advocating against free speech this hour?

You either communicate only in disjointed brain farts or you have NFI.

Free speech is essential to a functioning democracy, it lets us know who and what we are dealing with.

If openly quoting Goebbels as a good thing doesn't convince you the GOP has been taken over by fascists, you are not only incapable of connecting dots or being able to critically think, your ignorance of history will consign you to the wrong side of it.

No such thing as free speech - ask Remery or peacenlove.

Society can't function without some censorship.

He was comparing Bidens State dept with Goebbels. He wasn't holding up Goebells as a good example to follow. That's just a snippet taken out of context to support the fascism hysteria.

The above bit of propaganda demonstrates why free speech is important, you can't just have one side of an argument in order to think critically.

Someone was comparing Biden's state department to Goebells?

Seems like a pretty extreme comparison to make.

I suppose there was something in particular they were referring to?

Censorship is not the same as "we don't have free speech"

We have free speech, you just can't say some things on kids TV
Or some slightly worse things on TV in general
Or scream hateful stuff about a certain group to incite violence etc.

We do have free speech.

There are countries where if you asked somebody if they know where u can get a bible, you will disappear.
We have free speech.

And yes we need some censorship.

Every society has taboos. Plenty of things you are not allowed to say in Australia. There are banned books and movies. The ideas we can't communicate are censored. Sure we can speak more freely than we can in North Korea, but no country has free speech.

I'm not arguing that censorship and lack of free speech is a bad thing, it's just the reality and it changes over time.

This argument started by 'NQR' Cammd is retarded.

You are advocating for people that identify as nazis, condone sexual assault, support racism and don't support free speech, are purposefully destroying the world seeking power and have turned their backs on their allies and are openly supporting war criminals and fascist regimes.

there is no nuance here. That's who you are in support of.

Coincidentally - an example of some speech that shouldn't be free.

Today in 1952, 73 years ago: Tragedy in the church of Santa Teresa in Venezuela, in the Basilica of Santa Teresa, in Caracas, after one of those present shouted that there was a fire and caused the stampede. As a result of suffocation and crushing, 46 people died and 115 were injured.
