I had the same thing Greenpat, had a piece of cartlidge stuck in my knee and could not straighten my leg so they had to trim the offending bit off, keyhole as u say. Op is not painfull and u will be up and going in no time. I think I was out of action for 2weeks If I remember, was 19 when it happened (37 now)..
