Why oh fkn why does it do different things at different times? I mean sometimes it just works different.

I always plug it in, iTunes comes up and it syncs.
Then I can go into My Computer and see "iPhone camera" - whereupon I can cut n paste the photos into My Pictures on the PC.
Same as if I plug in a digital camera and it just appears and I can save the pics.

But sometimes not. Today iTunes will launch but the phone keeps asking me every 10sec if it can trust the computer. Again and again I select 'trust'. Still not in appearing in My Computer.
There was an iOS update so I did that, nup still farrked.

Geez I hate this crap, why can't it always work the same bloody way? It is a machine incapapable of independent thought so why does it just change it's mind about how it works? Now up to half a day to try and get some pics off the phone.

Anyone got a tip? (Related to how to get the damn phone to appear in My Computer lol)

An Android phone just appears and you don't have to have 200mb of horrible, random-acting, credit card eating bloatware on your PC to allow you a simple copy paste function..

So does an iPhone. It always just appeared.
Now it doesn't and that's what is &^$ *%^&(^^% ing frustrating
It did this once before but reappeared after 3 or 4 pluging-ins

As if the computer or phone has a mind of its own!
sure we are just bags of mostly water but hey our brains are supra grey matter.
with Independent thought.

the Machine on the other hand is just millions of little bits that's connected to millions of other computers that are full of millions of bits of information.
hmmm, that did't come out right!

oh fark it and just talk to 'it' nicely !
my navigator loves me when I tell her she is a sexy bitch and she does thinks I'm al-right;).........

But Mark, You're the guy we come to when we want all our difficult questions answered.
How come now you need to ask us anything.

"Physician, heal thyself"

Anyway, the answer is, ask a teenager. They know everything.

I cannot help you. i hate iPhones and Apple in general. i am a Nokia fanboi and will never change. they just work. well at least up to the N900.
but i bet your problem is not your phone. it's itunes. the most incredible piece of shyte software written most likely by a cat on morphine!
get rid of it (google on proper ways to do this) and replace it with DiskAid, the best thing for iOS since DOS days of Apple Basic!!
DiskAid is not free but you can try it for free. never have media txf problems again.
oh and do NOT delete System32! fark!!! what were u thinking NOBS? LOL

common problem caused by internal overheating due to lack of ventilation.

insertion of several .308" diameter holes through I-thingies always cures this design flaw.

The issue is you have an Apple device. From working with hundreds of Apple devices is clear while they do not have a mind of their own, the device you 'own' is actually controlled by Apple Corp. All IOS and OSX devices are controlled to a greater or lessor effect by Apple Corp. If you have one you just have to accept this fact.

Mark, phones are for phoning, and computers are for computing.

Why are you combining the two??

Why are you plugging the phone into anything other than a charger?
