Mine is when I'm held up in an 100 zone driving by someone doing 80kms/hr and then they come into a 60 or 40 zone & keep doing 80k while I slow down to the speed limit & people try & run over the top of me..[}:)][}:)]
OR yesterday there was a line of holiday traffic doing 70 in a 100 zone..they get to an overtaking zone & speed up to 110kms so you cant pass them & then at the top of the hill they are back to 70kms...@##!!![}:)][}:)]

Oh yeah, that last one really pisses me orf in the country. They do 80 - 90 but when you come to an overtaking lane cos it looks wider and somehow in their mind more safe or something they speed up

I hate it when I am sitting inthe right lane, doing 100 or so, passing all the slower cars inthe left line. There's always some clown who will sit right up my clacker.

I calmly continue on until I get past the slower traffic or there is a substantial gap then move over. Bastard moves past me then sits in the right lane at about .5k faster than I was going. Why do I have to compromise my driving comfort and safety so you can hog the right lane?

It's even worse in the suburbs when a speed hog pushes and pushes and chops and changes until they get through the traffic, then accelerates up to the next pack to do the same thing over and over again.

OR, the other day there was a whole stream of holiday traffic doing 95 in a 100k zone. We get to a short section where passing is possible and you always get one cretin who decides to overtake everybody, then bulldoze their way in on the double lines. What's wrong with staying in line and waiting your turn?

I just continue to drive as I am enjoying myself cos I'm doing the right thing and should they drive past screaming or anything at me, a casual finger and f-bomb does the trick =P

Loud mobile phone users in public.

its petty, but i hate driving thru maccas drive thru for a coffee before work, ask specifically for three sugars to be mixed in, and so the hand u the coffee and give u three sugar sachets... they do it all the time and ill hand them back the coffee and tell em to put it in for me... as if im gunna do that in the car while driving... knobs

Also RSC's moronic comments from the show pony thread qualify as a pet hate too

I also hate when its not windy

also, people who are late sh1t me off big time as well as people who think they're heaps important being loud on a mobile in public

vent over hehe

How people know they need to be in your lane and wait until till last second before the lights or lane ends.

However a magna took on my lifted landcruiser. I finally had enough, and did not let him in.
Me - small scratch to bull bar and flare, him - 1inch gouge down entire side of car
He then just drove off. He did get infront I suppose.

So my new hate will be "not getting even"

The over use of the word 'Authorities' on the news. It is used everywhere - TV and radio, commercial and ABC stations.

Some examples can be found here: news.google.com/search?aq=f&pz=1&cf=all&hl=en-AU&q=Authorities&gl=AU&ceid=AU:en

When a plane or boat is missing anywhere in the world, the news will simply report, "Authorities are searching for survivors".

I used to get red pen all over my year 8 English assignments if I dare wrote such generalized babble.

YES!!! Misplaced apostrophe's sh!t me off

Another: misuse of the word organic. Usually by the same tools that use "wellness"

All vegies are organic. All meat is organic.

And use of "chemicals" as if it's bad. Water is a chemical (also a solvent and apparently they're bad too). Air is a blend of chemicals.

FFS greenies.

What really cheeses me off is people with no mouth control. You know the ones, they can't eat with their mouth closed, even the sound makes me want to throttle them.

I don't go the movies very often for that reason

A young casual worker that stated that he can't work any more days this week as he will lose his centre link payments. [I just about lost it]
He was offered 3-4 full days work a week .....
