Yeah good points, I wonder what the Guardian would have to say about Pauline Hanson sporting a Romper Stomper t shirt.

Yeah, look, I am only guessing here but I suspect that if PH has been photographed walking down the steps of a tax-payer funded plane after visiting the most rightwing politician of a generation who is single handedly bringing down western democracy via an unstable dictatorship, and whom referred to her as a great friend and that there 'has never been anybody better', all whilst wearing a Romper Stomper T shift and a pair of Doc Martins then The Guardian would have........... well, spelt her name wrong for a start.

Post punk era bands with controversial names is hardly something new. I guess the Murdocracy and Sky New will get their knickers in a twist about the Dead Kennedys or The Sex Pistols next. Confrontational viewpoints against the Establishment was sort of the point of punk and post punk eras.
Edit: As Remery just reminded me; Spandau Ballet was another band name designed to shock, despite being part of the New Wave Romantics and wearing frilly shirts.
