You can make all kinds of wild guesses. But as they reported in the article, by his own admission he was an alcoholic, paranoid and suffered depression. He could just as easily have seen the fit hit the shan and decided he couldn't go through it all again.

and dr David Kelly who blew the whistle on the wmd lies to the british parlament, then went for a walk in the woods behind his house and shot himself in the back of his head

I heard on the radio today that a 'comedian" threw some shaving cream at the old fella Murdoch, was this a selfless individual act by the "comedian' or was it a staged event to try and win sympathy? either way it sounds like Wendy[ wife ] saved the day for old Rupert, the news said he was slow to react, I guess true to form given his prior knowledge of the phone Hack'n, it will be good to view the footage on the news tonight

Just seen the footage.. how did a disheveled bloke get access to a Parliamentary enquiry with a plate full of shaving cream? odd
