I can see why you are thinking that, but I think the headlight area is similar to the XE falcon.

I like the fact there a few e4wd options out there now... this means i can consider buying a electric car, which is the enevitable future.

the tesla truck might be a bit of a gimmick but there are some cool features, which comes when throwing away the design manual i guess. Like ssteel panels. and i like the roof angle - no more flat spots, water will drain easy, less rust. and as said, easy for solar panel install - actually i cant believe these dont come standard... its electric ffs! it could power itself, to a degree.

Yep, same. But throwing the Cybertruck around the twisty roads might not be that much fun either at 3 tonne. The back would have to have a windsurf rack conversion

You add perfume some dice and a window sticker.. Rad personality choices are mute..

Mehh.A/C works. Drives quite so i can enjoy infotainment.. Capacity for toy transport.. I quiet like cling-on cruise control.. Ability to shutdown excessive nanny state nappy alarms....miss electric seat adjust.. Modern car..
The one thing i would L o v e.. an engine which produced zero CO2.. so hydrogen or ammonia based.. Batteries are out till canbe recycled... Just look at Solar panel recycling.. In OZ.. Basically zero...

On the other hand, I have had people that know the breed come up to me and tell me how beautiful she is. I guess its one thing that you appreciate when you know what they are like, and sort of inline with your theory on cars. You justify these things and appreciate them, and forget about any negatives.

BUT....
Tesla use Lithium batteries which have a very finite life, with talk of replacing at 6-8 years.
And at a conservative estimate of $20-25,000

If that equates to say 12500 l of fuel, at 7l/100km you are around 180,000 km of travel (all rough figures).

It appears to be even cost - if you travel 30,000 km per year on fuel !!!

Waiting for better battery technology.

I was watching 'fast and loud' a week or so ago with the episodes where they remake a mustang so that they could refilm the scenes from the movie. In making it authentic, it looked a bit boring, and the other modern car (which I can't remember) in the chase scenes looked far more interesting to me.

Is it a thing where the original stirs your memory and there is something extra? I found the chase scenes a bit boring and pointless, although no doubt at the time they were exciting.

Some of the prices these cars go for in the USA are incredible and shows you just how many wealthy people there are that can compete for these things.

A short answer(see vid) to cars as a trait detector (particularly because they are for making money during/for work time AND are good for little else)...
