Gizmo, That add was conceived and shot after the announcement as a reaction to feedback that many Australians thought Holden was closing as a brand. We were contacted Monday, the film crew were in the Design studio Tuesday and the add went to air Thursday night. It was that fast.
No conspiracy what so ever.

Each to their own, I thought it was a step up from hillbilly names such as Rodeo, Jackaroo, Drover, and Commodore which brings commode to mind.
Its a shame to see so many people going to be unemployed. A bit over the government who will take for ever to help the workers. So I made up a website for those interested in a new job.
