I'm reading a bit of this could lead to some bad things. And a bit of we had this weather ten or one hundred years ago. So tell me, what undersea changes did you record from that day years ago. Yep, that's your science.

I hear you saying it was worse a decade ago. Have you been sooking about it for the whole decade or is this a new sadness for you

Sooking about what? Ignorant people spreading misinformation? I've been sooking about that for much longer than a decade.

This is just rubbish activism pretending to be science

"Nature and the Nature research journals
As part of the Nature Portfolio, Nature has spent the last 150 years championing and supporting scientific work. Alongside our Nature research journals, we continue that mission in partnering with researchers from across the globe to bring their most significant discoveries to the widest possible audience.

Over 50 thousand manuscripts are read and assessed for quality and integrity each year by Nature and the Nature research journals, but less than 10% of these papers will be selected by our highly qualified professional editors for publication. The exceptional research in these journals has a profound effect on the disciplines to which it relates and the wider world.

Articles published in Nature and the Nature research journals have contributed to some of the world's most notable scientific advances. From the discovery of radioactive decay, to Watson and Crick's seminal work on DNA, to Dolly the sheep and cloning, read more how our articles have played a critical role in advancing their fields and helping to address global societal challenges."

"Are we all doomed? How to cope with the daunting uncertainties of climate change"

It's easy to feel overwhelmed when thinking about the damage that might be wrought by global warming - but that is missing the point.

Funny that WA has also set a new record for least amount of rain for Oct - March along with all these new temperature records.

Possibly the best example of fear mongering I've yet read, thanks remery.

And the pic of the wind turbines with the words....the transition towards cleaner energy sources provides glimmers of climate hope is false programming.

Wind turbines use coal or gas fired power stations to get them going and to keep them going.

If wind turbines need electricity to run, how did those old Southern Cross bore pumps ever work?

"Not only is offshore wind power better for the planet compared to oil and gas, it's also better for taxpayers. That's according to a new analysis from the Center for American Progress, a nonpartisan policy research institute.

"Americans are getting significantly more return on investment from offshore wind energy lease sales than they are from oil and gas lease sales" per acre, said Michael Freeman, a conservation policy analyst for the Center and author of the report.

Offshore leases are essentially patches of publicly-owned waters rented out by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management for energy production - a process governed by the National Environmental Policy Act, or NEPA. The money made from these leases goes to the U.S. Treasury Department, and, through public program funding, back into the pockets of taxpayers.

From 2019 to 2021, the average winning bid from offshore oil and gas lease sales was $47 per acre. By contrast, the average winning bid for a wind lease sale was 125 times higher - just over $5,900 per acre. And that number is likely to get even higher given the American wind industry is still in its relative infancy, said Jenny Rowland-Shea, the Director of Public Lands for the Center for American Progress."

For the last 2 months it seems Perth has been freezing.

May and June have average max temperatures of 22.3 and 19.5 yet nearly every day it seems the max has been around 17C.

No let up in sight for the next week also.

Global Warming it seems also causes significant cooling.

We should all do our part to reduce our carbon emissions.

15 minute cities with carbon credits points for each individual. Seems like a good idea on the face of it.

Any takers?

Any concerns?

March 2024 mean maximum 30.2 degrees; climate average 29.7.

LOL, it would be nice if any of these were true; the reality is that "the green" solution is desertification, deforestation, strip mining and abundant chemical use, all to avoid utilizing NATURE'S batteries, which have been largely depleted in the west.

So are we looking at a +ve feedback loop here? The more ice there is, the more ice there is.
A very sudden change, then the less ice there is, the less ice there is.
The next decade will tell I guess.
Is there a tipping point where there's no coming back from?

No substitute for propaganda to formulate the public's mind on any given issue.

We are consciously and unconsciously subjected to the climate change narrative 24/7 365 days a year.

With such bombardment the average mind or should i say closed mind has next to no chance of waking up.

If you are measuring global warming from air temperatures, almost any bit of land will have its average temperature rising faster than the global average simply because 3/4 of the world is out at sea, and thus benefits from a cool sea breeze.

Might be wrong but I thought water made up about 70 percent of the Earth's surface, while the other 30 percent was continents and islands?

well that's very close to 3/4, meet you half way 72.5% / 27.5%, now do you feel better.
