There's no soul, just a stream of evolving consciousness. Your ego wants to believe there's a core and identity.

Souls are both unique and evolving consciousness.

Souls are pure consciousness and are partitions of the Creator's original realisation of Self, having unique experiences that the original consciousness (let's call it the Creator or Creators) cannot have without form and without materiality.

One could think of ego as the root of our being within the soul in order to facilitate evolution through experience. A point of manifestation of our being.

But let's face it Dutchie, neither you or i can prove it either way, so don't pretend you or i have the moral high ground. Haha. Your experience is just as valid as mine, and that no one can argue against without coming across as an "egotist".

You should try reading a book for a change. A real book, one that has tables, figures and a bibliography.
