One freak even thinks the marine habitat would benefit from the deliberate sabotage of a large vessel with hundreds of tons of fuel oil aboard.

This fool claims to have conducted research then overstates the net size 7 fold. He then calls other people retards.

I would wager said fool is a greenpeace member because this is exactly how these degenerates think. I have had contact with them several times.

Why don't you go kill some seals, dolphins, whales, turtles and sharks... <tard.
I've spoken to local fishermen, and conducted on the ground research... sinking the destroyer poses very little environmental risk in the port... even to the near by Mussel farms and Tuna concentration camps.
They have accidents all the time; there was a recent accident where one boat, ran over another and it sank.

The midwater trawling net is 5km wide and will KILL everything in it's way, even mermaids!

So STFU.

And as every <tard knows, fish and other marine life are an inexhaustible resource to plunder.

Wow. I think Gwen just threw his hat in the tree and took his bat and ball home with him!!

I guess his opinion is the only opinion that counts

People can have whatever opinion of fishing they like. Fine with me.

I'm a bit sensitive about threats of sabotage. In the early 90's I was on a fishing vessel in port at Eden NSW. Greenpease were there trying to sabotage the woodchip ships. Our vessel came under attack also.

They came aboad at night when they knew the boys were at the pub and set a very clever "booby trap" designed to not only damage fishing operations, It was set to inflict death on the crew as well. It was only due to the diligence of the crew the trap was discovered at the last minute.

This is worse than Piracy. At least pirates are in your face and you know where you stand. Sneaking aboard vessels in the dark of night setting traps to kill men just trying to earn a keep for their families is pure cowardice.

It was attempted murder. Some would consider it terrorism.

Shouldn't be to hard to understand why I'm a little touchy on this subject.

Definately are. I've seen net monitor footage of Dolphins and seals swimming in and out of the net taking fish out of the bag. Easy feed for them.

Very hard to convince the closed mind its not an issue.

Photoshopped bullsh!t like that picture with the dophins in the net above don't help.

I've been involved in 1000's of purse seine shots over 10 years and there was never a dolphin harmed or caught.

We filed a complaint and local police invesigated it. Nothing could be proven.

The cops were flat out trying to control the greeny Loonies.

There was a Sydney to Hobart race on at the time and the actions of the loonies caused a delay in response to a damaged yacht with an injured crewman.

Caused a big stir. In the end the Eden locals had enough and formed a lynch mob and run them out of town. Was a little violent. No doubt was left to what would happen if they came back.
